Delivery Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

This policy explains how delivery works between buyers and sellers on the SwagMzansi marketplace.

1. How Delivery Works

SwagMzansi is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Delivery of a purchased item is arranged directly between the buyer and the seller. Sellers are responsible for safely packaging and dispatching sold items in good time.

2. Shipping Timeframes

The seller must mark an item as shipped within 3 business days of confirmed payment.

Estimated delivery is 2–7 business days, depending on the courier used and the buyer’s location.

When marking an order as shipped, the seller must provide a tracking number.

3. Supported Couriers

Sellers may use any reputable South African courier service, including but not limited to:

Courier Guy, Fastway, RAM, DHL, Pudo, Paxi, and PostNet.

4. Delivery Costs

Delivery costs are agreed between the buyer and seller at the time of purchase.

These costs are either displayed on the listing itself or communicated via in-app messaging before payment.

5. Failed Delivery

Where delivery fails because of an incorrect address supplied by the buyer, any re-delivery costs are for the buyer’s account.

Where delivery fails due to an error by the seller or the courier, the seller is responsible for resolving the issue.

6. Non-Delivery

If an item has not been received within 14 days of being marked as shipped, the buyer must contact info@swagmzansi.co.za.

SwagMzansi will investigate and aim to resolve non-delivery cases within 3 business days. See also our Refund Policy.

7. Prohibited Items for Delivery

The following may not be listed, sold, or shipped through SwagMzansi:

— Counterfeit goods;

— Hazardous materials; and

— Any item prohibited under South African law. See our full Acceptable Use Policy.
