Our Mission
South Africa has one of the most vibrant fashion cultures on the continent. From kasi drip in Soweto to Cape Malay-inspired print in the Bo-Kaap, from luxury resellers in Sandton to vintage hunters in Braamfontein — the creativity is everywhere. But until now, there was no platform built specifically for South Africans to buy and sell fashion safely, with the trust and payment infrastructure the market deserves.
SwagMzansi was built to change that. We created a marketplace where sellers can list for free, where every transaction is protected by our buyer protection system, and where the seller’s reputation — their SwagScore — is earned through real buyer reviews. SwagMzansi is a product of Kgusiame Group (Pty) Ltd, a South African technology company based in Midrand, Gauteng. We are a team of builders, designers, and fashion lovers who understand the South African market from the inside out.
We built SwagMzansi because we saw the opportunity — and the need. South Africans deserve a marketplace that speaks their language, understands their culture, and operates with the level of trust and safety that international platforms offer but local alternatives have failed to deliver.
